Portsmouth Water is recruiting an Assistant Project Manager (Pipelines) to support the Havant Thicket Reservoir pipeline programme. You will coordinate, monitor, and manage activities across two major contracts, covering mechanical and electrical works, within a collaborative team environment.
You will engage with stakeholders, produce clear progress reports, and support delivery from concept to completion while ensuring compliance with planning permissions and regulations.
We’re making a difference: Together, we can ensure that there is enough water for everyone, now and in the future.
The Assistant Project Manager (Pipelines) will play a key role in the successful delivery of the Havant Thicket Reservoir (HTR) pipeline programme. Working closely with the Pipeline Project Manager, you will help coordinate, monitor, and manage activities across two major pipeline contracts that form the backbone of the reservoir’s integration into the wider water network. This will include involvement in mechanical and electrical elements across the programme. This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role suited to someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys problem‑solving, and is motivated by contributing to a nationally significant environmental project.
If you are successful for the role, you will be required to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) pre-employment checks that will include a basic disclosure check. Depending on the role, you may also be required to go through the national security vetting process for either a CTC or SC clearance check. Any offer of employment is conditional upon completion and receipt of satisfactory checks.
