Job description

Execution: Build a basic understanding of company-wide and discipline codes, standards and working practices in order to perform basic engineering tasks in line with Business Operating Procedures (BOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs). Provide a support service as required by the Project Engineering Manager or Project Manager in the provision of quality and timely technical outputs. Governance: Comply with national laws/regulations and adhere to company-wide & discipline BOPs and WIs to act in line with standardised working practices. Innovation: Be aware of the need for development innovation at more senior levels and begin to build an awareness of expectations in this area in order to contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. Communication: Understand the need for and begin to build up a basic internal relationship network in order to leverage expertise, influence decision making and satisfy requirements. People Development: Take accountability for their own personal Professional Development Record as part of Altrad's talent management ethos.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Trade-specific Level 3 qualification
  • Instructional Techniques, City & Guilds, Cert Ed, PTLLS, CTLLS, or DTTLS
  • Assessor qualifications: TDLB D32/D33, A1, or TAQA
  • Verifier qualifications: TDLB D34, V1, or IQA; CCNSG Safety Passport; ECITB ACIC Approval
  • Previously qualified to, and with an up to date competence in the specific trade skill within the Engineering Construction Industry
