Job summary

Design Installation Service Group is seeking a Pipefitter/Welder for a 12-week on-site role based in Kingston Upon Thames. The candidate will install and assemble pipework systems, including cutting, threading, bending, welding and fitting to project drawings.

Immediate start preferred on a negotiated day rate. The ideal applicant will hold a CSCS card and have experience reading technical drawings and performing welding tasks for industrial piping projects, with a strong commitment to safety on

Qualifications

• Experience in pipe installation and pipefitting, including measuring, cutting and assembling piping systems.
• ARC welding and general welding techniques for pipework installation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and specifications for piping and welding projects.

Responsibilities

• Install and assemble pipework systems on site in Kingston Upon Thames.
• Cut, thread, bend and fit pipe sections according to drawings.
• Ensure safety protocols and PPE usage on site.

Company Description Design Installation Service Group is a specialized provider of industrial installation and mechanical services, supporting clients with comprehensive design, fabrication, and on-site assembly solutions.

Role Description This is a 12-week, on-site Pipefitter/Welder role based in Kingston Upon Thames based on a negotiated day rate. The Pipefitter/Welder will install and assemble pipework systems, including cutting, threading, bending, welding, and fitting of pipes in accordance with the specification and drawings. Immediate start preferred.

Qualifications

• Current CSCS card.
• Candidates should possess skills in pipe installation and pipefitting, including measuring, cutting, and assembling piping systems.
• Candidates should possess welding skills, including ARC welding and general welding techniques for pipework installation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications for piping and welding projects.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety, including use of PPE and compliance with company and industry safety protocols.
• Relevant trade certifications or qualifications in pipefitting and/or welding are highly beneficial.
• Previous experience in industrial or mechanical installation environments is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Kingston Upon Thames, manage physical demands of the role, and collaborate effectively within a project team.
