Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear seeks an experienced Pipefitter for on-site work at Hinkley Point C (Bridgwater, Somerset). Day and night shifts are available, with competitive ECSA pay rates, enhanced overtime where offered, and a strong benefits package.

You will work within the MEH Alliance to fabricate, install, and test piping systems for the UK's first 3rd generation nuclear power plant, contributing to a safe, sustainable energy future.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Level 3 apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Pipefitting, Pipework Fabrication, Pipe Welding or Marine Plumbing.
• CCNSG Safety Passport is required.
• Experience with manufacture and installation of pressure piping is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Play a pivotal role in building the UK's clean energy future.
• Work within the MEH Alliance, delivering complex piping and cabling systems.
• Fabricate and assemble pipes using specialised tools and techniques.
• Install and secure piping systems according to strict specifications.
• Test and inspect piping for functionality and compliance with standards.
• Prepare work areas and follow safety protocols.
• Assist the Supervisor to ensure operational methods are used for required works.
