Overview

An opportunity has arisen for experienced Piipefitters, based in Portsmouth. Suitable candidates will come from a shipbuilding/shiprepair background. You will be involved in a variety of projects and the contract is going.

Role Requirements

• Background in marine/ship build/repair projects or other heavy industries
• NVQ Level 3 /apprenticeship qualified
• Proficient in cutting, bending, threading, and welding pipes.
• Installation of pipework systems (carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, plastic, etc.).
• Able to work from engineering drawings
• Must be eligible for UK Security Clearance
• Driving licence

Rates

Umbrella Company

• Monday - Friday - £28/h
• Saturday - £35/h
• Sunday - £37/h

PAYE (holiday pay can be accrued or advanced)

• Monday - Friday - £20.91/h plus £2.52/h holiday pay
• Saturday- £26.13/h plus £3.15/h holiday pay
• Sunday - £27.63h plus £3.33/h holiday pay

Standard working week is 40 hours, but the team are regularly working 50-60 hours per week
