Job summary

Tech-People is recruiting an Experienced Pipe Fitter for a waste‑to‑energy plant project in Belvedere. You will install and maintain heavy‑duty pipework forming part of the plant's steam and power‑generation systems.

The role requires experience with high‑pressure steam/water systems, CSCS, own tools and full PPE. Start 17 Aug 2026, duration ~2 months, 10‑hour shifts, 30/hour with weekend overtime. On‑site parking available.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter.
  • Experience with pressure pipe installations.
  • Experience with high‑pressure steam and/or water systems.
  • CSCS card required.
  • Own tools and full PPE required.
  • Able to work 10-hour shifts.
  • Reliable and experienced.

Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain high‑pressure pipework for steam and water systems at the waste-to-energy plant.
  • Work on Belvedere project ensuring safety and compliance with site procedures.
  • Support commissioning and maintenance activities as required.

Experienced Pipe Fitter - Pressure Pipe Installation - Belvedere, start 17/08/2026, 30 ph
Location: Belvedere, South East London
Start: Monday 17th August 2026
Duration: Approx. 2 months
Rate: 30 per hour
Hours: 10 hours per day
Weekend work: Saturday and Sunday available, paid at time and a half
We are currently looking for experienced Pipe Fitters for a waste-to-energy plant project in Belvedere.
The role involves working on high-pressure steam and water systems, installing and maintaining heavy-duty pipework forming part of the plant's steam and power-generation systems.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter
  • Experience working on pressure pipe installations
  • Previous experience with high-pressure steam and/or water systems
  • Similar industrial, power, energy or waste-to-energy experience highly desirable
  • CSCS card required
  • Own tools
  • Full PPE
  • Able to work 10-hour shifts
  • Reliable and experienced
Pay & Hours
  • 30 per hour
  • 10 hours per day
  • Saturday & Sunday available at time and a half
  • Start: Monday 17th August
  • Duration: Approximately 2 months
  • On-site parking available, but spaces are limited

Only candidates with relevant pipe fitting and pressure pipe experience will be considered.
