Job description

Overview

We are looking for a Pipefitter to work a day shift, Monday to Friday for our client in Leeds, initially for around 6 months with a possibility to be extended. There is also the potential for a night shift if preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate pipe sizes from small bore up to 2" pipe in materials such as stainless steel, carbon steel & duplex.
• Fabricate pipe to bend and form to ISO drawings and prepare for welding.
• Operate electrical bending equipment and complete paperwork in line with company process.
• Work in a workshop-based environment with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Apprentice-trained Pipefitter with previous experience in a similar engineering/manufacturing role with connections to the Oil & Gas sector.

Location, Terms and Benefits

• Based in Leeds, West Yorkshire.
• Contract: Temporary (initially around 6 months) with potential for extension; option for night shift if preferred.
• Pay: up to £26 per hour with a quarterly bonus of £1,000 (paid every 3 months).
  • Overtime paid at time and a half after 37 hours; double time on Sundays.
• Umbrella pay option available; 33 days holiday per annum for PAYE; dig allowance for candidates over 50 miles from site.
• Work environment includes free parking, subsidised canteen and gym access.
