Job summary

OLG Recruitment are seeking a time-served Pipe Fitter for a client in Grimsby. The role involves executing work packages to a high standard, in line with project requirements, company procedures and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong planning, good communication, and a flexible approach to changing priorities on site. Local candidates are preferred for on-site work with a focus on health and safety.

Qualifications

• Time-served pipe fitter with relevant trade qualifications.
• Safety Passport / MEWP / PASMA required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience working to project plans and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Drive an uncompromising Health & Safety culture on site.
• Promote long-term success through finishing works to a high standard.
• Ensure project materials are used efficiently and waste is minimised.
• Look after company property and hire equipment according to procedures.
• Ensure tools, equipment and materials are stored and used properly.
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including customer representatives.
• Work with the leadership team to complete works to plan.
• Utilise company procedures to meet all documentation and data needs.
• Undertake any other duties commensurate with the role.

Job description

OLG Recruitment are looking for a time served Pipe Fitter for our client based in Grimsby. You will be required to execute work packages to a high standard related to specific requirements, in accordance with company procedures and compliant with relevant standards and to ensure the Health & Safety of internal & external stakeholders are of paramount importance.

Responsibilities

• To drive an uncompromising Health & Safety Culture.
• Promote the long-term success of the business through positive approach to finishing works to a high standard and in accordance with the specific project information.
• To ensure that project materials are utilised effectively, minimising waste at all times.
• To ensure company property, including hire equipment is looked after appropriately and in accordance with procedure.
• To ensure all tools, equipment and materials are used and stored appropriately.
• Positively and proactively communicate with all project stakeholders including customer's representatives
• Work in conjunction with the leadership team to ensure works are completed according to plan.
• To utilise the company procedures effectively ensuring all documentation and data needs are met.
• Any other duties commensurate with the role.
