Job summary

Integrate Engineering Resources is seeking a skilled Pipe Welder for a permanent workshop-based role in Kidderminster.

You will read drawings and fabricate carbon steel pipework up to 600mm, using MIG welding with occasional TIG tasks. The role is based in a busy workshop environment with an ongoing assignment for a leading engineering company.

Overtime opportunities are available, and the position offers a stable site-based role with emphasis on quality and safety standards

Qualifications

• MIG pipe welding experience required.
• Able to read engineering drawings.
• Workshop manufacturing background.
• TIG welding experience an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate carbon steel pipework from drawings.
• MIG weld carbon steel pipework 100mm-600mm with wall thickness 3mm-20mm.
• Occasional TIG welding as required.

The Role

Integrate Engineering Resources is currently recruiting for a Pipe Welder for an ongoing / permanent workshop based position in Kidderminster for a leading engineering company in the material handling, pipework and heavy fabricated assemblies industries. The work will involve working from drawings and fabricating and MIG welding carbon steel industrial pipework, 100mm-600mm, wall thickness 3mm-20mm, with some TIG welding.

Requirements

• Previous MIG pipe welding experience
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Workshop manufacturing background
• Current / previous weld codings an advantage
• TIG welding experience an advantage
