Job summary

AA Euro Recruitment UK is seeking skilled welders for major projects in the UK. You will perform TIG and MMA welding to strict standards across high-integrity piping and structural steel, with safety emphasis and fuel to meet ECITB/ISO requirements.

The role offers a 4-day week, enhanced overtime, accommodation allowance, travel support, and a milestone bonus. Prior experience in Oil & Gas or related sectors is required, with recognized welding qualifications.

Qualifications

• Proficient with TIG and MMA welding processes.
• Experience in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/Thermal/Nuclear sectors.
• Experience welding Super-Duplex stainless steel (desirable).
• Experience welding Carbon Steel, Low-Alloy Steel and Austenitic Stainless Steel materials (essential).
• Recognised welding apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Welding & Fabrication Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent).
• ISO 9606-1 welder qualifications.
• CCNSG Safety Passport.
• ECITB Skills Test completion before deployment.
• Knowledge of TIG/MMA; orbital TIG welding is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of NDE methods MT, PT, RT, UT and their impact on welding

The Role

Requirements:

• Proficient with Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) and Manual Metal Arc (MMA) welding processes.
• Previous experience in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/Thermal/ Nuclear Sectors
• Previous experience in the welding of Super-Duplex Stainless Steel (desirable).
• Previous experience in the welding of Carbon Steel, Low-Alloy Steel and Austenitic Stainless Steel materials (essential).
• Recognised welding apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• BTEC/C&G/EAL/SEGS/ECITB Welding & Fabrication Level 2 (or Level 3) or equivalent experience.
• Appropriate ISO 9606-1 welder qualifications.
• CCNSG Safety Passport
• Satisfactory completion of ECITB Skills Test prior to deployment at HPC.
• Knowledge of key welding processes i.e., TIG & MMA (Previous experience in orbital TIG welding is an advantage).
• Basic understanding of the NDE methods to be applied (MT, PT, RT & UT) and how deviations in welding and preparation effect the performance of each method. Payrates:
• £29.34/hr basic (first 38hours/week)
• £41.08/hr overtimes rate A (after 38 hours/week- starts from Friday Morning until Midday Saturday)
• £52.82 Overtimes rate B ( From Midday Saturday to Sunday 12pm)
• Accommodation allowance: £53.39 per shift/ £373.73/week (tax free)
• Travel Allowance
• Milestone Bonus (up to 10%)
