Salary and Availability

Pay: £28.00 per hour. Basic hourly rate between £25 and £28 (CIS or LTD). Subject to interview and weld test.

Position

Pipe Fitter Welder required for a very good client. This role involves fabrication and installation and vessel fabrication and installation for food and beverage, chemical, power, agriculture, and other sectors.

Responsibilities

• Work from engineers drawings; mark out, cut and fit accurately.
• Be comfortable working on your own or as part of a team.
• As a pipe fitter welder, ensure all welding is to a high standard.
• Experience TIG welding carbon & stainless pipe is essential; thin wall experience essential.
• Fit pipe to a high standard and work from drawings.
• General work areas include storage vessels (BS EN), pressure vessels (PD5500 Cat 2&3), and stainless/carbon steel pipework.
• Coded welding to BS EN and ASME 1X.
• Local labour only or within a reasonable commute; no digs or long travel.

Requirements / Qualifications

• 4 years of Pipefitting experience.
• 4 years TIG welding experience.
• Must be able to pass a 6G pipe weld test before any job offer.
• Ability to commute to Skelmersdale, Lancashire or relocate before starting work (reliable commute required).
