Job summary

A leading engineering service provider is seeking a Pipe Fitter TIG Welder in Birmingham. The role involves fabricating and fitting stainless steel pipework within industries such as food, beverage, and pharmaceuticals. Candidates should have demonstrable welding experience and current coding. Pay ranges from £29.00 to £32.00 per hour. Immediate start available.

Pipe Fitter TIG Welder - Process Pipework

Birmingham, B30 1JR.

40 Hours Monday - Friday 8.00am - 16.30pm.

6 months work.

Our client is a leading engineering service provider in specialist hygienic mechanical and electrical systems. Working almost exclusively in the food, dairy, beverage, pharmaceutical and personal care industries, the company delivers innovative process solutions to clients such as Nestle, Coca Cola, Arla, Gaymers Cider, GlaxoSmithKline and Unilever.

Duties
  • Fabricate and butt‑weld schedule 20 and schedule 40 mild steel and stainless steel pipework up to 8" diameter, along with 1" to 4" OD thin‑wall stainless steel and some jacketed pipework spools.
  • Fit the fabricated pipework and manufacture brackets and associated pipe supports.
  • Assist other pipe fitter welders as necessary.
About you

Based ideally in the West Midlands you should be based within a commutable distance of B30 1JR.

Demonstrable experience of pipe‑fitting and stainless steel TIG butt welding within a food, drink or petro‑chemical processing environment is essential.

Good all‑round welding experience with current or previous coding is required.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary circa £29.00‑£32.00 per hour CIS with a range of benefits associated with a market‑leading organisation.
