A leading engineering firm is seeking a time-served pipe fitter for a long-term role in Stalybridge. The ideal candidate will have experience on petrochemical sites and must be able to read isometric drawings. Overview

We are currently looking to recruit a time served pipe fitter for a very long-term role (permanent for right person) in the Stalybridge area. Experienced working on petrochemical sites/pharmaceutical/oil and gas sites is essential. This is not a commercial works.

Responsibilities

• Measure point-to-point to enable fabrication and interpret pipework isometric drawings to fabricate and install new pipework.
• Liaise with the client and client operations to enable permit signing and requests, including periods when on site alone.
• Work as part of a team, and at other times in small teams.
• Maintain a full clean driving licence.

• Time-served pipe fitter with experience on petrochemical sites/pharmaceutical/oil and gas sites.
• Ability to read and interpret pipework isometric drawings.
• Willingness to liaise with client operations to obtain permits.
• Ability to work alone on site and in small teams.

Other information

This work is outside of IR35 so we can payroll limited.
