Job summary

A leading construction firm is seeking a time served pipe fitter for a long-term role in the Mold area. The ideal candidate will have experience working on petrochemical, pharmaceutical, or oil and gas sites, and must be able to read isometric drawings to fabricate and install pipework. Strong communication skills and a clean driving license are required. This position operates outside IR35, allowing payroll via a limited company.

Qualifications

• Time served pipe fitter with experience in petrochemical, pharmaceutical, or oil and gas.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting pipework isometric drawings.
• Willingness to work with client operations for permits and access.

Responsibilities

• Measure and fabricate/install new pipework based on drawings.
• Liaise with clients to facilitate permit signing.
• Work independently or as part of a team on-site.

Overview

We are currently looking to recruit a time served pipe fitter for a very long-term role (permanent for right person) in and around the Mold area. Experienced working on petrochemical sites/pharmaceutical/oil and gas sites is essential. This is not a commercial works.

Responsibilities

• Measure (point to point) to enable fabrication and understand pipework isometric drawings to enable fabricating/installing new pipework.
• Liaise with the client and client operations to enable permit signing and requests; there may be periods when they are on site alone.
• Work as part of a team during other periods, including working in small teams.
• Maintain a full clean driving licence.

Requirements

• Time served pipe fitter with experience on petrochemical sites/pharmaceutical/oil and gas sites (essential).
• Ability to read and interpret pipework isometrics and translate into fabrication/installation.
• Willingness to liaise with client operations for permits and site access.
• Location: Mold area.
• IR35 status: Outside IR35; payroll via limited company.
