Job description
Overview

Pipe Fitter – Rullion are currently recruiting for an experienced Pipe Fitter to join our leading Engineering client's team at their busy Lincoln Depot.

Location: Lincoln

Shift Pattern: 6am - 2:30pm

Pay Rate: £20.19 and then after a probation period of 2 weeks, the rate will increase to £23.19 an hour

Start Date: As soon as possible

Responsibilities
  • To be able to bend and form tubing using hand bending tools ranging from ¼"- 1" tube - Fabricating
  • To bend and form 1"- 3" using machine tool process
  • Fitting, bending, forming and termination of small bore pipe work assemblies
  • Setting up pipe fabrications, tacking in position ready for welding
  • Assembly of pipe assemblies using "Swagelok" fittings
  • The ability to prepare and set up pipe fabrications (weld joint preparation) to contract specific drawings and systems
  • Knowledge and clear understanding of engineering drawings, schematics
  • Must be able to work under supervision by the Team leader/Cell Manager
  • To maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness within the department at all times and adhere to all current and new Health & Safety requirements
  • To be able to lift within the restraints of the Manual Handling policy
  • To have served a recognised Apprenticeship and attend Training courses when required
Skills & Qualifications
  • Power stations or industrial background stainless steel and tubing background - 5 to 10 years experience
  • Good work ethic
  • Supervisorial experience is desirable
  • All PPE provided and Health and Safety explained before and on site
