Job summary

Boccard is seeking experienced Pipefitters to support on-site work at Hinkley Point C. You will provide pipe fitting services, ensuring adherence to industry standards and project specs, while maintaining a strong safety mindset.

Applicants should have a Level 3 Pipefitter apprenticeship, CCNSG or equivalent H&S qualification, and be capable of working in a highly regulated nuclear environment. Medical and SC screening are part of pre-employment requirements.

Qualifications

• Holds a Level 3 apprenticeship in Engineering Construction Pipefitter standard.
• CCNSG or similar H&S qualification is required.
• Experience in a highly regulated environment, preferably nuclear.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pipe fitting activities on site at Hinkley Point C in accordance with industry standards and project specs.
• Comply with all QHSE procedures and company safety rules.
• Be flexible to travel to other sites, primarily Broughton and supplier sites.

At Boccard, as we continue our journey of growth and expansion to serve the new era of nuclear energy, Boccard, as a leading specialist in engineering, manufacturing, construction and maintenance in the nuclear energy industry, we are looking for experienced Pipefitters to join us on site at Hinkley Point C.

To provide expert pipe fitting services within the UK Nuclear New Build Industry, ensuring all tasks align with required industry standards, company specific QHSE procedures, and project specifications.

Our pipefitters adhere to all health and safety requirements and legislations and remain up to date on pipe fitting practices.

Roleholders will perform high quality standard of work to agreed timeframes, meeting, and exceeding client expectations

Applicants must have proven experience in a highly regulated, preferably nuclear environment, Level 3 apprenticeship in Engineering Construction Pipefitter standard and possess CCNSG.

Working within the nuclear energy industry our priority is always working safely and to rigorous standards, therefore applicants must have a safety and quality mindset.
