Job summary

PwC Leeds is seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join our Tax Compliance team, focusing on Pillar Two obligations, corporate tax compliance and tax accounting for a diverse client base across industry sectors.

You will work with UK-based clients, collaborate with international teams, and help deliver accurate data, calculations and timely returns while developing your technical knowledge in global tax regimes and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Technical knowledge of the global Pillar Two rules and filing requirements
  • Experience of preparing/reviewing transitional safe harbour and full rules calculations
  • Strong UK corporate tax skills
  • Strong client relationship & stakeholder management
  • Developed client service ethos and ability to adapt to client needs
  • Dataliteracy and analytical skills

Responsibilities

  • You will join our team of experts specialising in supporting clients with their Pillar Two compliance, Corporate Tax Compliance and Tax Accounting obligations.
  • Supporting the delivery of Pillar Two compliance services on a breadth of client engagements including data collection and analysis, preparation and review of calculations, submissions.
  • Reviewing the organisation, analysis, and formatting of raw data into standardised templates for tax compliance purposes.
  • Supporting our team in the review and submission of corporation tax returns and tax accounting deliverables.
  • Project management of engagements and client relationship & stakeholder management.
  • Being responsible for organising, monitoring and managing your own workload and coaching team members.

What your days will look like:

You will join our team of expertsspecialisingin supporting clients with theirPillar Two Compliance,Corporate Tax Compliance and Tax Accounting obligations. Our clients range from multinationals to smallermid-tierclients across a wide range of industry sectors, providing you with opportunities to broaden your technical knowledge.

Supporting the delivery of Pillar Two compliance serviceson a breadth of clientengagementsincluding but not limited to;

  • Datacollectionand analysis

  • Preparation andreview of Pillar Two compliance calculations,and

  • Submission ofreturns

  • Reviewingtheorganisation, analysis, and formatting of raw data intostandardisedtemplates for tax compliance purposes

This role is for you if:
  • Technical knowledge of theglobalPillar Tworulesand filing requirements

  • Experience of preparing/reviewingtransitional safeharbourand fullrulescalculations

  • Strong UK corporate tax skills

  • Strongclient relationship & stakeholder management

  • Be fully or partqualifiedinHoldan accountancy or tax professional qualification (e.g.ACA, ATT, CTA or similar) (or international equivalent) or have demonstrable knowledge and skills that these qualifications provide.

  • Developed client service ethos and can adopt a flexible approach to meeting client needs.

  • Be able toestablish,build,andmaintaina good working relationship with key decision makers.

  • Dataliteracy and analytical skills.

  • Desirable to have experience workingon a global basis with remote teams, includingdeliverycentres

  • A continuous process improvement mindset
