Job summary

BAUER Technologies Limited is seeking a Piling Mechanic to join our multi-site team across the United Kingdom. You will maintain BG-type piling rigs, Bauer MC cranes, and MAT slurry handling equipment, perform inspections, diagnostics, and fault-finding on hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems, and support site teams with safe operation.

Travel across the UK and a strong focus on safety, documentation, and timely servicing are essential to keep projects on track and compliant.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Piling Mechanic or Heavy Plant Mechanic.
• CSCS Gold Card - Construction Plant Maintenance & Repair.
• Full UK clean driving licence.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to travel nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance & repair of BG-type piling rigs, Bauer MC cranes, and MAT slurry handling systems
• Conduct routine inspections, diagnostics, and fault-finding on hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
• Support site teams with safe equipment setup, breakdown, and operational troubleshooting
• Ensure all machinery complies with safety, environmental, and operational standards
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate technical issues clearly to supervisors

Job description

For our subsidiary BAUER Technologies Limited, we are searching for a new team member multi-site based across the United Kingdom as Piling Mechanic (m/f/x).

• Maintenance & repair of BG-type piling rigs, Bauer MC cranes, and MAT slurry handling systems
• Conduct routine inspections, diagnostics, and fault-finding on hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
• Support site teams with safe equipment setup, breakdown, and operational troubleshooting
• Ensure all machinery complies with safety, environmental, and operational standards
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate technical issues clearly to supervisors
• Proven experience as a Piling Mechanic or Heavy Plant Mechanic within the piling or geotechnical sector
• Proven hands-on experience withBG-type piling rigs,Bauer MC cranes using Grab and Cutter techniques andMAT Slurry handling equipment
• Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and complex mechanical assemblies
• CSCS Gold Card - Construction Plant Maintenance & Repair and aFull UK clean driver’s License are a must
• CPCS A40 Slinger Signaller andCPCS A61 Crane Supervisor are desirable
• Have the right to work in the UK or meet the requirements to do so
• Take personal responsibility for their work, meet deadlines, and work with safety in the forefront of everything they do
• Willingness to travel around the UK as required
