We are looking for a highly motivated individual to be responsible for coordinating the involvement of people with lived experience in health and social work education and all stages of the research cycle from developing research ideas, through to dissemination of research findings. You will be a person focused individual who is flexible and able to manage deadlines effectively, to provide specialist knowledge and to support PIER members, researchers and external stakeholders. We particularly encourage applications from people with lived experience as a health or social care service user or carer and people who have worked within community organisations.

You will need to demonstrate an ability to engage positively with a wide range of individuals and groups within the community and to draw on creative and engaging techniques to involve people with lived experience in education and research activity You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong organisational flair. A proactive approach is essential, as is the ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team. You will have knowledge and understanding of health and social care education, research and practice.
