A leading UK media company is offering a full-time apprenticeship as a Picture Production Apprentice in Leeds. This role involves managing and producing images for various platforms while gaining hands-on experience in a vibrant marketing department. Our apprenticeships are full‑time, with four days a week spent working in a Channel 4 department and one day a week completing the formal learning parts of the apprenticeship. The training consists of workshops, tutorials, webinars, coaching and, in some cases, residential boot camps. Apprenticeships are aimed at school leavers and people who do not have a degree. The Pictures Team sits within the Marketing department and provides all of Channel 4’s imaging needs. The team sources, edits, produces and distributes images for internal and external platforms, promoting Channel 4’s streaming services, third‑party platforms, social media, the external media and wider corporate use.
Working with programme commissioners, producers, celebrities and top photographers, the Pictures Team develops concepts for photo shoots on‑location and in‑studio. The team then produces, edits and distributes imagery, liaises with production companies and studios to acquire programme imagery and sources screen grabs from Channel 4 content. All images are used to promote Channel 4 programming.

£24,328.00 per annum (starting salary)
From September 2023, Channel 4 operates a 60/40 working pattern: three office days per week. Employees can decide where they spend the rest of the working week. All offices are open five days a week.
