Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd in Sutton-In-Ashfield is seeking a temporary Warehouse Picker/Packer to join a fast-paced operation. You will pick soft textile orders using a barcode scanner on an isle and shelf-number system, and you will pack items into small boxes with care before despatch.

This role involves lots of walking and requires reliability and teamwork. Shift times are 07:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday, with a closing date of 27/10/2026.

Qualifications

• Previous picking and packing role is preferred.
• Able to cope within a fast paced environment and perform many steps in a day.
• Be able to arrive at Kirkby in Ashfield for 0645 ready for a 7am start.
• Be able to work as part of a team.

Job Description

Picking and packing Role within a new warehouse.

This role comes with 2 duties…

Picking
You will be picking soft textile orders using a barcode scanner, on a isle and shelf number system. The orders are small and light, and you will be picking singular items, not boxes.

Packing
The packing is placing the items into small boxes, neatly and with care, prior to despatch.You will need a good eye for detail, as this is the final part of the operation before going to the customer.

This is a fast paced role, and lots of walking involved.

Hourly Rate: The salary for this role is £12.71 per hour PAYE, with

• 28 days paid holiday pro rata

Experience & Qualifications
