KPI Recruiting Ltd is seeking a Picker/Packer for our client in Chorley. The role runs Monday to Friday with shifts 08:00-16:00 or 09:00-17:30 and pays £12.90 per hour.

The successful candidate will locate items using pick lists or handheld scanners, assist with cycle counts, pack products securely, and maintain accurate stock levels while ensuring health and safety standards are followed.

Qualifications

• Computer literacy is essential.
• Strong attention to detail with accuracy.
• Good time keeping and reliability.
• Previous experience as a Picker/Packer.
• Able to work well individually or in a team.

Responsabilités

• Locate items on warehouse shelves using pick lists or handheld scanner instructions.
• Assist with cycle counting, stock replenishment and identifying discrepancies to maintain inventory.
• Pack products securely according to company standards and verify items for quality, accuracy, and quantity.
• Perform manual handling tasks as required.
• Maintain a safe and tidy work area.
• Follow Health and Safety regulations at all times.

KPI Recruiting are on the look out for a Picker/Packer for our client based in Chorley.

The hours and days as a Picker/Packer are:

• Monday- Friday
• 08:00- 16:00 or 09:00- 17:30

The rate of pay as a Picker/ Packer is:

• £12.90 p/h

The duties and responsibilities as a Picker/ Packer are:

• Locate items on warehouse shelves based on computer generated pick lists or handheld scanner instructions
• Assist with cycle counting, stock replenishing, and identifying discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory levels
• Pack products securely according to company standards to prevent damage, verifying items for quality, accuracy, and quantity before selling
• Manual handling activities
• Maintaining a safe and tidy work area
• Adhering to Health and Safety regulations

The ideal candidate for a Picker/ Packer would need:

• Computer literate (essential)
• Good eye for detail
• Good time keeping skills
• Previous experience as a Picker/ Packer
• Ability to work well individually or in a team environment
