Picker Packer

IMMEDIATE STARTS AVAILABLE

We are currently recruiting for Picker Packer positions in Burton-Upon-Trent (DE14 2UZ). At Waterstones Bookseller, you will become part of a supportive and welcoming team, working under the guidance of inspiring leaders across various departments. Our dedicated on-site team is here to assist you in your role, ensuring you have the resources and support needed to excel in your position.

Role of a Picker Packer:

• Order picking and packaging books and toys using RDT technology to a high standard of accuracy
• Duties may include but not limited to sorting, picking and packing.
• Work to standard operating procedures in line with company policy
• Maintain high levels of Health and Safety awareness and report any areas of concern immediately
• Assist with inventory counting and stock investigations when necessary
• Assist other team members as necessary
• Support Colleagues and Team Leader with all day to day tasks
• To action any other elements to fulfil the operational needs of the business and undertake any other reasonable duties as allocated

As a Picker Packer you will need to have:

• Flexibility regarding shifts and availability for overtimes
• Physically fit and capable of maintaining physical activity
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Self‑motivated
• Ability to work in a busy environment
• Ability to give attention to detail

Details:

• Salary: 12.70
• Overtime: 19.05
• Location: Burton On Trent, DE14 2UZ
• Various shifts available – AM/PM – any 5 days out of 7, Sunday work is required
• Immediate Starts
• No previous experience required – full training will be provided
