Job summary

A leading legal firm is seeking a Serious Injury Solicitor to handle moderate to high-value Personal Injury cases. This fully remote position requires strong litigation skills and a valid Practicing Certificate. The role involves managing casework, mentoring junior team members, and understanding medical aspects of claims. Competitive salary up to £65k offered, with flexibility for home working.

Qualifications

• Valid clean Practicing Certificate with no restrictions.
• Experience with claimant PI matters, particularly Grade A in EL/PL.

Overview

Serious Injury Solicitor- REMOTE

Responsibilities

• Managing own casework acting for claimants in moderate/high value Personal Injury matters
• Understanding of medical issues in the context of PI claims and how to investigate and apply these to the law in the best interest of the client.
• Develop an understanding of financial management of files (WIP, disbursements, billing and profitability) and working as to meet or exceed set targets.
• Mentor to junior fee earners

Requirements

• Valid clean Practicing Certificate / Admitted solicitor with current Practicing Certificate in place (no conditions attached or regulatory body's restriction on ability to practice)
• Prior experience on good quality claimant PI matters, Grade A Solicitor experienced in EL/PL
• Strong litigation experience
• Excellent communications (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
• Able to exercise own initiative, with good problem solving skills
• Able to apply sensitivity, confidentiality and empathy in regard to clients\' matters

Salary to £65k, open to full home working.
