Responsibilities
  • Assisting the physiotherapists in the delivery of individual and group exercise programmes. This may involve delivering exercise sessions, hands on therapies such as massage and patient education. Training is provided in any of the modalities used. All patients are initially assessed by the physiotherapist.
  • Ensuring stock and equipment levels are maintained and re-ordered on a regular basis and that equipment is well maintained and clean in line with infection control guidelines.
  • Carrying own patient caseload with simple predictable conditions delegated by a therapist.
  • Assisting in the administrative duties of the physiotherapy service when required, including reception duties, data inputting, photocopying, assisting with audits and completing patient records.
