A leading healthcare provider in Scotland seeks a Band 6 physiotherapist for a full-time permanent position at Gartnavel General Hospital. The role involves patient assessment, complex diagnosis, and treatment planning, alongside staff management and service development. Candidates must have a Diploma/Degree in physiotherapy and be HCPC registered, with substantial experience in Older People’s Rehabilitation. The position requires participation in an emergency on-call rota and working across seven days.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 physiotherapist to join the team in Gartnavel General Hospital on a full time permanent basis.
It is essential that you are educated to Diploma/Degree level in physiotherapy while being registered with HCPC. You should have significant post graduate experience with previous clinical experience in Older People’s Rehabilitation/GORU. This post involves a complex and varied caseload incorporating patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge planning. You will be clinically responsible for rotational staff, support worker staff and students, inducting, training and managing staff on a daily basis. You will lead in service development and service change within the team. You will be actively encouraged to develop through your 4 pillars of practice while participating in CPD, audit and research.
You will be required to participate in the physiotherapy emergency on call and weekend rota.
This post requires the post holder to participate in seven day working.
