Job Introduction

Position Details

This is a Fixed-term post until the end of April 2026.

Band 6 Physiotherapist – full‑time temporary position on the Acute AHP team, supporting additional beds over winter.

Responsibilities

• Patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge planning for a complex and varied caseload.
• Clinically responsible for rotational staff and support worker staff, managing staff on a daily basis.
• Support additional beds during winter and participate in seven‑day working and extended hours if required.
• Provide clinical support to Acute AHP teams and contribute to high‑quality care for patients.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree level in Physiotherapy, registered with HCPC.
• Significant post‑graduate clinical experience with relevant previous practice.

Working Hours

Full‑time – 40 hours per week. The role may require seven‑day working and extended hours during peak periods.
