Job summary

A healthcare trust is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to cover maternity leave. You will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with musculoskeletal conditions, leading a team, and developing services. Applicants should have a degree in Physiotherapy, relevant post-graduate training, and be HCPC registered. This role offers a salary of £47,810 per annum and the opportunity to work in a dynamic outpatient setting.

Physiotherapist MSK (Maternity Cover)

We are looking for an experienced MSK outpatient physiotherapist with a holistic approach to patient care that adopts the core values of MSE Hospitals.

You will be specialised in advanced musculoskeletal skills assessing and treating patients with complex pathology. You will have experience in leading a team, service development and project management. You would also have experience of multidisciplinary working and be a role model for the department, working with the Clinical and Operational Managers on workforce and service planning.

Main duties of the job

This post creates a fantastic opportunity for you to work within a busy outpatient physiotherapy department, assessing and treating patients with musculoskeletal conditions.

Patients will be referred to the service from their General Practitioners or a variety of members of the multidisciplinary team. They may have been assessed and triaged through our clinical assessment and triage service (CATS) or be direct referrals from the orthopaedic wards.
