The University of Huddersfield is seeking a Physiotherapist to join the ActiveHud service. You will work in a multi-disciplinary team delivering a range of athletic performance and community wellbeing activities across campus facilities at Huddersfield.
HCPC registered with a physiotherapy degree, current first aid, and membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy are essential. The role is on-site, part-time (18.5 hours per week) with a permanent contract and pro rata salary.

You will coordinate and deliver a comprehensive clinic that meets the needs of individual athletes, teams, wider university & local community members in our high-quality cross campus facilities.
As our Physiotherapist you will be working within a multi-disciplinary team to provide high quality physiotherapy services to the University of Huddersfield community through provision of a clinical service. This will include performance sport athletes, Students' Union club members, wider student & staff population, external sports teams & individuals and Kirklees members of the public. This role will include some clinical placement supervision of University of Huddersfield students on the BSc Physiotherapy degree programmes.
With a Graduate Diploma and/or degree in Physiotherapy, you will be HCPC registered, hold a valid first aid certificate, and be a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. You will have excellent knowledge and understanding of elite athlete support services and inter-disciplinary sport science, extensive knowledge of musculoskeletal physiotherapy, and extensive knowledge of sports injury prevention/rehabilitation in sport.
You will also possess a commitment to excellent customer service, self-management skills, and be able to actively reflect on learning whilst demonstrating autonomy, self-awareness, action planning, time management & initiative.
