Eligibility – Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP)
This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Former EDRP participants are ineligible to apply.
Compensation and Benefits

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to a defined panel of patients.
- Take history, perform physical examination, order laboratories and diagnostic studies, diagnose and formulate treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions within the scope of medicine practice.
- Lead a Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) consisting of physician, RN, LPN, and clerical associate.
- Provide preventive care and coordinate care for the primary care panel.
- Monitor PACT team performance to ensure adherence to VA standards, quality and effectiveness of care, and meeting VA performance measures.
- Deliver outstanding customer service.
- Lead the team in assisting patient advocates and administration to resolve patient concerns and inquiries.
- Exercise medical decision‑making and provide a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services for a specific patient group.
- Maintain excellent communication skills and relationships with staff, community, and other multidisciplinary team members (social work, pharmacy, mental health, nutrition, etc.).

Requirements
- Medical degree (MD/DO) or equivalent NP/PA credentials.
- Valid full‑time state license and unrestricted practice authority.
- Board certification or eligibility for board + CME reimbursement.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Eligibility under VHA policy for EDRP; must submit application within four months of appointment.
Work Schedule
Monday – Friday 8:00‑4:30.
