Job summary

ProMedical is seeking a Haematologist (ST3+) to support NHS services in the West Midlands. The long-term locum role features a Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00 pattern in a busy acute hospital environment.

Ideal candidates will have 18-24 months middle-grade Haematology experience, Full GMC Registration, and UK NHS experience. Start ASAP for a 6-month assignment, PAYE; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality haematology care within an acute NHS hospital setting.
• Assess, investigate and manage patients presenting with a range of haematological conditions.
• Support inpatient and outpatient haematology services.
• Work collaboratively with consultants, nursing teams and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in line with NHS standards.
• Identify and elevate clinical concerns appropriately.
• Contribute to safe, effective and patient-centred service delivery.

This long-term locum opportunity offers a structured Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00 working pattern,providing consistent work within a busy acute hospital environment.

This role is well suited to doctors with substantial middle-grade haematology experience who are confident managing haematology patients within an NHS setting and working collaboratively with established multidisciplinary teams.
