A governmental organization in Northern Ireland is seeking Physical Security Advisors to provide risk assessment and compliance guidance. The role requires at least two years of experience in Physical Security functions and effective leadership skills. The Advisors will work closely with senior staff and ensure alignment with security policies across departments. Applications are particularly welcomed from diverse communities. The Physical Security Advisors will report to the Physical Security Policy Manager and provide Physical Security advice to identify and mitigate security risks in line with business needs. They will support the Senior Management Team (SMT) in the provision of policy, guidance, advice and support across the NICS.The postholder is expected to assess the impact of legislation and actively promote Physical Security compliance and to communicate the potential impact of emerging practices, while assessing and reviewing risk. They need to understand, explain and present complex ideas to audiences at all levels in a persuasive and convincing manner.
