PS Ltd is recruiting a Physical Logistics Coordinator for our busy Derby-based operation. The role blends computer-based logistics administration with active warehouse duties, requiring SAP proficiency and comfort in a warehouse environment.

The position is structured for Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday shifts, with initial training across Wednesday to Friday 08:00–18:30 and Saturday 06:00–16:30. Hours may be negotiable for the right candidate.

Formación

• Strong computer literacy and experience using SAP or similar warehouse systems.
• Previous stock control or logistics experience.
• Confident communicating with customers and colleagues.
• Comfortable working both at a PC and within a warehouse.

• Receiving, launching and despatching material using internal systems.
• Using SAP extensively throughout the working day.
• Monitoring and controlling stock.
• Updating records and completing system transactions accurately.
• Using Microsoft Office packages.
• Liaising with customers and other departments.
• Following written and verbal instructions.
• Moving materials using pallet trucks when required.
• Walking the warehouse to complete stock and logistics tasks.
• Supporting general warehouse operations where required.

This is a varied role combining computer-based logistics administration with warehouse activity, so we are looking for someone who is confident using systems such as SAP but is also comfortable working within a warehouse environment.

The role will be worked across:

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday

Training will initially take place on:

Wednesday to Friday: 08:00 - 18:30
Saturday: 06:00 - 16:30

Hours may be negotiable for the right candidate.

Requirements

• Strong computer literacy
• Previous SAP or similar warehouse management system experience
• Excellent attention to detail
• Previous stock control or logistics experience
• Confident communicating with customers
• Comfortable working both at a PC and within a warehouse
• Physically able to move materials and work across a large warehouse

A valid Counterbalance Forklift licence would be highly beneficial.

Previous gantry crane experience would also be advantageous, although training can be provided.
