Salary: 140 - 200 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Physical Education Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in the Crewe area. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated educator to lead engaging PE lessons, promote healthy lifestyles, and foster teamwork and resilience in students. The role is to start as soon as possible and is suitable for both experienced teachers and strong ECTs (Early Career Teachers).

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring a passion for sport and fitness

  • Plan, prepare, and assess pupils' work in line with curriculum requirements

  • Organise and support extracurricular sports activities, fixtures, and events

  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation from all students

  • Work collaboratively with the PE department and wider school staff to ensure pupil progress and wellbeing

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification

  • Specialism or strong experience in teaching Physical Education at secondary level

  • Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills

  • A proactive, energetic approach and a genuine enthusiasm for promoting physical activity

  • A strong commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
