A warm and professional family residing in Burghfield Reading is seeking an experienced and discreet Housekeeper / Nanny to assist in the upkeep and organization of their beautiful family home. The household is relaxed with two delightful children and a friendly Border Terrier. The family values quiet professionalism, reliability and someone who can blend seamlessly into their day-to-day life. This is a long-term position ideal for a calm trustworthy professional who enjoys working within a family environment.

The position is primarily housekeeping-focused with additional childcare support during school holidays. The family requires a self-employed professional who can maintain the home at a high standard, manage laundry and assist with tidying and household organization.

Duties

• General and deep cleaning of all household areas
• Laundry, ironing and wardrobe organization
• Occasional grocery shopping and errands
• Occasional pet care such as short dog walks
• Light childcare support during school holidays (ages 2 and 6)
• Assisting during school holidays or occasional evenings when needed

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of private household experience
• Two excellent checkable references
• Fluent conversational English
• Valid UK work permit
