Job summary

Oliver Bernard is seeking a Senior PHP Platform Engineer to lead migrations and evolve a market‑leading PHP platform with a fully remote UK team.

You'll work with Symfony/Laravel, AWS and DevOps tooling (Kubernetes, Docker), mentoring a small PHP engineering group and collaborating with senior management to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Symfony and Laravel frameworks.
• Extensive AWS experience.
• Experience with DevOps, Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience leading small PHP engineering teams.
• Background with migrations projects.
• Proficient in object-oriented programming.
• Adhere to DRY and SOLID principles.
• Experience with APIs and SOA environments.
• Collaborative, able to engage with senior management.
• Fully UK remote.
