Overview

My world-class client are looking the very best PHP Engineers to join their Technology team.

If you're looking to work on Enterprise-scale web application development (including a lot of new development/new features!) for a hugely reputable business with one of the largest PHP outfits in the country, look no further.

They have a large, yet incredibly Agile team of some of the very best PHP Engineers in the country - with dozens of projects on the horizon. We're looking for multiple Engineers to join them.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, functional object oriented PHP code and have exposure to PHP7 or PHP8 systems.
• Contribute within a team that primarily uses Symfony (version 4/5); candidates with experience in Laravel, CodeIgniter, CakePHP, or other MVC frameworks will also be considered.
• Work with MySQL v8 as a database.
• Maintain a full-stack approach with a solid handle on front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS and ideally TypeScript).
• Collaborate in an Agile environment with a focus on delivering value and continuous improvement.

What we’re looking for

• Ability to write clean, functional object oriented PHP code and experience with PHP7 or PHP8.
• Experience with Symfony (version 4/5) preferred; openness to candidates proficient in other MVC frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter, CakePHP, etc.).
• MySQL v8 experience.
• Full-stack capability with frontend skills: JavaScript, HTML, CSS; TypeScript is a plus.
• Strong attitude, aptitude to learn, and a preference for doing things the right way.
