Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD in Physics or closely related discipline with postdoctoral or equivalent experience in quantum optics or photonics.
• Ability to develop and sustain a leading international research programme with high-quality outputs and funding success.
• Ability to contribute to teaching in core physics and engineering programmes and to develop UG/PG courses.

Responsibilities

• Develop an internationally leading research programme in optical/photonic quantum technologies.
• Pursue external funding through high-quality grant proposals.
• Establish collaborations with academia, industry, and policy bodies; contribute to strategic planning.
• Supervise and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students and research staff; teach lectures and labs.
