Job summary

Pragmatic Semiconductor is seeking an Equipment Engineer to join the Operations function at our Durham site. You will support 300mm Photolithography equipment, including steppers, and work with Production and Technicians to maximise uptime.

Reporting to the Head of Equipment Engineering, you will develop training materials, document procedures, and drive improvements in maintenance, safety, and Cleanroom workflows. Visa sponsorship/relocation support is provided.

Qualifications

Engineering qualification (HNC/HND or degree) in Engineering.
Experience with ISO 9001 quality systems is essential/advantageous.
OEM Semiconductor Equipment training is advantageous.
Experience using a Production MES system for Product and Equipment tracking is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Installations, commissioning, upgrades, preventive maintenance, repairs and decommissioning of Photolithography and Bake equipment.
Support Production requirements and Operators in a team environment.
Develop training plans and documentation, maintain a technical training matrix.
Provide training to team members on equipment and procedures.
Identify improvements for maintenance activities to maximise efficiency and implement them.
Coordinate with Production Planning to align priorities and demand.
Maintain tool tracking system, reports, and spare parts.
Report and present equipment performance data.
