Job summary

Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Phlebotomist Band 2 or 3 for 18 hours per week across multiple sites in Luton and Dunstable. Shifts are 8.30–13.00 on Mon, Tue, Thu and Fri, with weekend and bank holiday work on a rota. The role involves blood collection and general phlebotomy duties.

You will join a busy team within our phlebotomy, anticoagulant, inpatient and outpatient services, with development opportunities and NHS benefits.

Qualifications

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to deal with the general public.
• Previous NHS or caring knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Take blood samples from inpatients and outpatients.
• Carry out general departmental duties.
• Work on a rota including weekends and bank holidays.
