Job summary

North Cheshire and Mersey NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a permanent 20-hour phlebotomy post within the phlebotomy team. The role covers Warrington and Halton sites and some outreach services, focusing on blood collection from adults and children, with some clerical tasks.

Core hours are 7am to 8pm across seven days, with the 20 hours spread over five days; flexibility on hours is essential. Phlebotomy experience is desirable, but training can be provided.

• Excellent standard English and Maths
• Good understanding of English and Maths

Responsibilities

• Collecting blood samples by venepuncture and capillary puncture from adults and children
• Providing patient care and addressing queries
• Carrying out clerical and housekeeping duties
• Working across Warrington and Halton sites and outreach services
• Flexible hours within 7am–8pm, including weekends
