Job summary

Brampton Medical Practice in the United Kingdom is expanding its nursing team with a dedicated Phlebotomist role. You will provide safe, accurate venipuncture services to our semi-rural patient population and support high-quality primary care.

The position offers flexible hours between 8:30 am and 6:30 pm, 15 to 37.5 hours per week, with occasional Saturday mornings on a rota. You will work under lead practice nurses and collaborate with GPs, nurses and admin staff to ensure smooth patient

Qualifications

• Essential: Qualified in Phlebotomy.
• Essential: Care Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Venepuncture to collect blood samples under supervision.
• Label, store and prepare samples for laboratory transport.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Work with GPs, nurses and admin staff to support patient care.
• Ensure infection control and safety in the clinical room.
• Stock management and equipment readiness.
• Attend training and professional development.
