A GP practice in Swindon is seeking an enthusiastic Phlebotomist to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for obtaining high-quality blood samples from patients using venepuncture techniques, ensuring safe handling and accurate labeling. You will work collaboratively with clinical staff in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment. Candidates should have phlebotomy certification and experience in healthcare. Westrop Medical Practice have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic Phlebotomist to join the team to provide high quality patient care and support our busy clinical service. You should have experience of working in General Practice/Primary Care and be prepared to work as part of a varied multi-disciplinary team.
The Phlebotomist will deliver and assist clinical staff in the provision of treatment, preventative care, health promotion and patient education.
The Phlebotomist will work under indirect supervision of the nurse team leader and undertake tasks delegated by the nurse team leader or a suitably qualified regulated professional. You will work collaboratively with the clinical team to meet the needs of patients of the health centre, following policy and procedure.
