Job summary

Qualifications

• Eligible Doctoral Candidates must have a degree which formally entitles them to start a doctorate.
• Cannot have been awarded a doctoral degree and/or completed more than four years of full‑time equivalent research experience.
• Candidates must not have resided or carried out their main activity in the hosting country for more than 12 months in the 3 years before recruitment.
• Two secondments abroad, academic and non-academic, of between two and six months, are required.

Responsibilities

• Develop research objectives and proposals for own or joint research.
• Contribute to writing bids for research funding.
• Analyse and interpret data and disseminate findings.
• Supervise students on research related work and provide guidance to PhD students.
• Contribute to enterprise, public engagement and research-related administration.
