Job summary

Qualifications

• MSc/MPhys/MEng or equivalent in physics, engineering, applied mathematics or related discipline.
• Interest in robotics and metamaterials and willingness to combine experiments with theory/simulations.
• Ability to develop and apply learning approaches to physical networks.

Responsibilities

• Develop decentralized learning techniques for networks of active mechanical units.
• Capture nonlinear dynamics using theory and numerical simulations.
• Design and perform table-top robotic experiments implementing learning algorithms.
