FIBE3 CDT, Dept of Engineering, Cambridge University invites applications for a four-year PhD studentship funded through the Cambridge EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Future Infrastructure and Built Environment: Unlocking Net Zero (FIBE3 CDT).

The project, in collaboration with M Group, focuses on low carbon cementitious repair materials and advanced characterisation, mix design, and modelling to cut carbon emissions in infrastructure repair and maintenance.

Formación

• High 2.1 degree in Civil Engineering (Masters preferred).
• Strong interest in cementitious materials and experimental work.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out material characterisation and testing of repair materials.
• Develop mix designs and novel cementitious formulations for low-carbon repairs.
• Conduct modelling, accelerated ageing studies and validation experiments.
