Job summary

Cardiff University invites applications for a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Early Stage Researcher (ESR) in Network Ecology and Response Diversity. The ESR will be enrolled as a staff candidate for a PhD at Cardiff University and contribute to the ReDiLEEP project.

This is a full-time, 3-year position with international secondments, a dedicated training program, and a salary in the region of £34,610 to £38,784 per year, with mobility allowances dependent on circumstances.

Qualifications

• Applicants should not have resided or performed their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in the UK for more than 12 months in the 3-year period immediately prior to the start date of the PhD research.
• Applicants for ESR PhD positions should be in the first 4 years (full-time equivalent) of their research careers and not yet have been awarded a doctorate.

Responsibilities

• The Doctoral Candidate will contribute to monitoring methods to investigate response diversity in real-world ecosystems.
• The ESR will be enrolled as a staff candidate for a PhD at Cardiff University and participate in the ReDiLEEP training program and secondments.
