This specialist school will consist of two sites, combining to offer 252 places for young people with severe, and profound and multiple learning difficulties, age 4-16 years. Cheryl is committed to growing and leading a team that ensures Wolsey Park is a place of joy and learning, where children and their families belong and thrive.
The Wolsey Park School, currently under construction, will have a phased opening beginning in 2027. Our plan for the school includes high-quality facilities and expertly trained staff; our vision is for a place of learning where children are known and cherished, and are at the centre of all we do.
The Wolsey Park School is being designed for children and young people who require a highly personalised curriculum. Learning will focus on communication and wellbeing, within an engaging, broader curriculum of foundational skills and enriching experiences to prepare our learners for life beyond school. We recognise that some of our young people will face significant challenges, and we will make sure they have the right support, the right approaches, and the right people around them, so that they can make fantastic progress in the ways that matter most to them and their families.
