A leading healthcare provider in Reading is seeking a qualified Pharmacy Technician for a role in procurement and distribution. This position involves coordinating medicines supply, managing stock control, and supervising pharmacy assistants. Candidates must be registered and have experience in stock control and staff supervision. We currently have an opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician (Procurement and Distribution) to join our team. You will help deliver a high quality, safe and effective pharmacy purchasing and distribution service to our in‑patient wards (community health and mental health services) and our out‑patient services.
We are a small friendly team, based at Prospect Park Hospital in Reading where our dispensary, pharmacy stores and purchasing office is located.
Our working hours are currently 09:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday with you also working a late shift in the dispensary on a rota basis, which means no nights or weekends. We offer free parking on site.
