Qualifications

• You must be a registered pharmacy technician with an NVQ level 3 in pharmaceutical sciences or equivalent.
• Experience in a clinical based ward team is required.
• Supervisory or management qualification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical Medicines Management service to patients.
• Work as an Accredited Checking Technician.
• Assist in ensuring that key processes and procedures are in place.

Skills

Patient counselling skills

Ability to prioritise and organise routine daily tasks

Good working knowledge of hospital pharmacy systems

Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office operating systems

Education

NVQ Level 3 Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent
